I am back in my home town for the first time in 20b years. I had forgotten about this diner. I had vague memories of eating there, but not anything else. Let me tell ya, the food was great and the staff was friendly. We very much enjoyed it!
Burgers and fries are amazing and fry sauce is on point. The grilled chicken is seasoned and awesome on either a sandwich or the salad. Sometimes the drive through can take a very long time so make sure you're not in a hurry! You'll need to call ahead and go in for pick up.
We stopped here on impulse after the train museum. This is a terrific spot, glad we did. The burgers are excellent. too large, if anything, wish we had split a burger between us. Really quaint decor, nostalgic booths. Don't miss the murals in town if you're just passing through, they are truly amazing and I don't mean to use that word casually. This review will fade into oblivion as other, newer, reviews take it's place, but since you're here why don't you add a nice rating if you have some nice words to say (and remember what your Mom always said, "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything"). Great to see businesses thrive in the Yakima Valley. Let's support restaurants here by being Yakima-friendly. It's always a good idea to try and out-courtesy their staff learning to be courteous with often-not-courteous customers.
